The Journey of Pixon Chemie

Pixon Chemie finds its roots in a British heritage company that was named Albright and Wilson, which was founded back in 1856.

During Albright and Wilson’s existence, they specialised in phosphorous-derived leading technologies, focusing on production, development and innovation.

Albright and Wilson’s structure was split into segments – P4 technologies, also known as Phosphorous technologies, are the concept of building blocks.

Beginning with the primary derivatives, P4 technologies can be expanded into secondary derivatives, which then can be used to create many more molecules.

This is the basis of the work at Pixon Chemie, these chemicals are the initial blocks, which are then built upon to meet specific needs of chemistry molecules in each market.

These solutions are custom made based on needs, that are built upon to meet our standards of quality, efficiency and positive environmental impact.

Eventually, Albright and Wilson were sold, with each segment of the company’s structure split. The department of Orphan Technologies, which are the foundations of the ‘building blocks’ approach, weren’t acquired.

With big corporations snubbing the acquirement of this division, Pixon Chemie decided to embrace these niche applications, being able to create advanced chemistry solutions that can be applied to a broad range of markets.
